Grant Gunning
Registered Psychologist

Grant Gunning is an experienced psychologist who has been registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board since 1990. Grant has lived in Napier since 2002.
Services offered by Grant include:
- Individual counselling for people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression;
- Mediation services including couples mediation;
- The delivery of mental health programmes to businesses and organisations;
- Coaching including life coaching and management coaching to current and aspiring managers seeking to develop their skills and achieve their career aspirations;
- Critical incident debriefing for businesses and organisations.
Grant also delivers services to businesses and organisations. When working with businesses and organisations Grant blends his experience and skills as a psychologist with his 20 + years of leadership and management experience in a way that takes into account the operational realities for the leaders and staff in those organisations and focuses on achieving workable solutions.
Dr Bernice Gabriel
Registered Counselling Psychologist

Dr Bernice Gabriel is a South African psychologist, based in Hawke’s Bay, who has 24 years experience working in infant, child, adolescent and adult mental health, family therapy, relationship issues and parenting support in New Zealand. Bernice also provides professional development for educators in attachment and trauma informed practice.
Bernice has assessment and therapeutic skills (individual and group) in a broad range of mental health, behavioural and parent-child relationship interventions. Her particular expertise is in attachment and trauma-related difficulties in children, adolescents and adults.
Bernice completed PhD research reviewing the mental health needs of children in care and analysing the mechanisms of change in the Fostering Security programme, which she developed to support and train foster parents, caregivers, educators and mentors.
